DATES: DEC 2010 PAGE COUNT: 5 pictorials SYNOPSIS: This is a side story that was inspired from how mother nature’s forces has disrupted Christmas events that happened around the world in 2010. The snowstorms in airports like London Heathrow & New York’s JFK disrupted scheduled flights causing thousands of families missing out on a Christmas reunion, and the Queensland flooding in Australia that destroyed hundreds of homes and left families devastated. The second part of inspiration came from the concept of ‘determination’ and how people won’t give up in getting themselves out of a bad situation, and more importantly. the concept of ‘hope’ and how humans are ‘giving’ by donating to victims of natural disasters within their country. |
