Boy! What a difference it is with colour! Sorry I was hanging out at my bro’s place to play Mortal Kombat and hell was it an epic reboot of the series.

Looks like Zac has a plan and it’ll most probably involve a little bit of havoc since it’s going to require a direct approach to get to that speedboat – it’s their fastest ticket to Cape Locke, they have to find Ruby and retrieve the Auroris Stone!

Nevertheless apologies for the lateness but it is better late then never! Enjoy and thanks again to Evan for the outstanding colouring work! I’ve added in the effects for Panels 3 & 5 at the very last minute – cuz I got to go to work in about 5 minutes! XD

Hey everyone! Sorry but looks like there will be a delay in the colouring process!

Evan Stanley will be doing her best to get the page coloured as soon as possible! In the meantime let’s check out what it looks like in sketch form. Once I get the file from Evan I will update it into this post.

Also! I will be posting a new journal on my new deviantART account and a new piece of artwork that is different from my usual forte of anthro cartoon styled drawings!

Series Discontinued! Final Update and Message of Thanks!

One Last Goodbye

Hi guys and gals! It seemed like forever since my recent update! However this will be the last since I’ve decided to drop this project and move on to new pastures.

This to me has been an incredible experience for me as I have learnt a great deal on how to get a web-comic published successfully with the assistance of a great friend of mine, Chemb0t. I also learnt how to print my own book and sell it to fans overseas – both at conventions and online. Despite this whole exercise being a special hobby of mine I knew that it would involved a costs (i.e. lots of time and money), however with that being said it was all well worth the effort, I have no regrets.

I’ve made new friends along the way, gained an incredibly supportive fan-base and gained insightful knowledge on how the comics market work in the real world. I’ve also been inspired by an amazing bunch of other web-comic artists/graphic novelists who are doing the same thing as I am (i.e. via self-publishing initiatives) but have continued their endeavors to deliver consistent and great quality artwork. I wish them all the very best and will continue to keep in touch and support them all the way.

So there you have it folks, it’s been a beautiful ride while it lasted. I’ve managed to make one last update to the Concept Sketches folder. Do check it out by clicking on the picture below!

With that said I am currently taking a year’s break from making graphic novels. I am however re-tapping into my old loves – which is fan art and fan projects (such at the very recent success of the debut of the first video to the SONIC UNIVERSE: Animated Adaptation series). I’ll be placing focus on creating more animated adaptations of my favourite graphic novels (such as DreamKeepers series) and possibly special how-to-draw tutorials of Sonic the Hedgehog characters.

Thanks for the excellent times! I will see you all again in the near future and hopefully release a brand new graphic novel project – entitled: Ashworth – Tales of the Cursed Wombat

Fanart Update (March, April & May 2011)

Hey guys and gals! Sorry for the lack of updates. I’m getting really excited about how I’m getting the groove back with my return to deviantART. I’ve been trying out new things and it is encouraging to see myself braving outside the usual anthro-cartoon mix of things.

Nevertheless with regards to the comic I we should have the colour page up soon! I will try and work on Page 25 before the Sunday deadline hits!

Also I’ve made an update to all of the fan art sections of the gallery. These updates include: Featured Fanart, Fan Archive 2006-2007 (Pt 1) & the newly created Fan Archive 2006-2007 (Pt 2) (there’s just too many for those two years that I had to split it into two parts – possibly a three in the near future!).

Here are some shining stars from this month’s Featured Fan art section! I really appreciate each and everyone of you who have sent me your own creations! Let’s keep up with the creativity!
